Return of the Atas Gone Wild

Yes, that's the name of the cell group appreciation night of W452 and W480. It was an "atas" event indeed. We had it at a suite room at Laguna Country Club. Man, the place is really, really pretty, with amazing view. But its location is rather inaccesible. It was a night fill with fun, crazy games, (Group two won!!!! Muahaha =P Go group two!), amazing encounter with God, good food, fellowship, and not forgetting cam-whoring!!

Looks like a loft doesn't it?

I'M NOT SHORT, I'M JUST FUN-SIZED!!!! XD XD

Aww.. We have indeed came a long way from W331. Let's continue to run the race. Love you guys! ^^

Haha... So sad. We were present-less. Our angels did not bring our presents ):

W480 gave a gift to Rouxin (: I can't wait to get to know her better in 2009 and serve her (:

Sharon! A fellow helper. She's really sweet, nice and a faithful girl in serving God :) Hope to get to know her more in the coming year.

Sisters of W480

The brothers! *whoosh*

Presenting my new spiritual-family! A new year, a new beginning ((=

The folks of W452 and W480! We actually fitted into the suite xD

CINDY! The star of the event. I was really touched by her humble gesture of washing our feet. Though I do not know her that well, I teared a little. Really look up to her (: A strong woman of God.

Yay, my card! We each have a card and wrote on each others'. It took us a rather long time as there were MANY cards.

One thing on the card that made me laughed real loud. My full name appeared! Hats off to Benny for being able to be one of the rare number of people to be able to do this. Haha. He's my partner in our connect group; looking forward to get to know him even more and serve with him.
Award presentation. The category of Passion. These are the nominees, laughing 'passionately'. Lol. Me bursting out as always.

Lo and behold, I actually won it O.o I was really surprised to get nominated in the first place, as it's been less than two months since I joined the new cell. Aww.. This encourages me further to touch lives, to bring joy, to make a difference and stand in the gap (:

CHRISTmas

First of all, a huge shout out to my Brother, Friend, Protector, but most of all, my Lord and Saviour... HAPPY BIRTHDAY! ((:

Yes, the annual season of love, joy and giving came and went, really fast this time. My work has really been ripping off my Christmas mood and time to open up my house for my yearly Christmas party ): Boohoo... This is the first time in years that I did not invite my friends over. I can't seem to find a time to do it ): I shall make up to them... Soon... My birthday bash?? Lol.

Still, I LOVE Christmas. I kicked start mine with a small Christmas party within my department in the office. Had wine at like 12.30pm O.o Ahahaha... We also ordered honey baked ham, turkey roll, pizzas, chicken wings (yum), and had a sinfully scrumptous chocolate cake from Awfully Chocolate. That was seriously heavenly... After work, rushed down to service. Went down with JH gor gor, since we ended work at the same time and are just two-stops away from each other. He said he barely recognised me in my new hairstyle. Laughs. Which by the way, are getting out of control real fast. My curls are starting to come out *grr* I am really tempted to head down to Kimage and indulge myself in a real nice (and expensive) hairdo to make it look better... Anyways, back to the main topic. Yeah, Christmas service was awesome! I repent that I was quite dressed-down... Oops. I looked quite sloppy, because it was a rainy morning, and I had to work on Christmas Eve )): Sorry God, did not shine for you >.< Sitong, however, looked real nice in a dress and her new hairstyle, which coincidentally, is VERY similar to mine! Sisters indeed xD By-Two! Lol!!

Back to Christmas service.... :p I loved the way the worship team jammed up the Christmas carols, but the slower ones are the ones that make me reflect and focus on the true purpose of celebrating Christmas, which is the birth of Jesus Christ (: The auditorium was so so pretty when it was lit up with candlelights. Then, in the midst of the dim auditorium, we sang O Holy Night and Silent Night, Holy Night. Heartfelt moment... One hand holding the candle, the other on my chest, thinking about how wonderful God and Jesus has been to me in the past year. I truly worshipped our Beauiful Saviour with all my soul and heart. Love You ^^ The drama was hilarious and very well-done as always. I laughed real loud =P But of course, the meaning it carried was touching as well (: After that, hanged out with W480-ians for awhile and head back home to have Christmas dinner with my dear family. Afterwhich we opened our pressies!! Hahaha, my brother got me a NKJV Bible!! Hahahaha. On the actual Christmas Day, I met up with cousin Lynn! Aww... She treated me a mouth-watering lunch at Fish and Co. That was really sweet of her (: I forgotten that she had to have early dinner with her parents, so we skipped the Christmas drama and spent a day just chilling and really spend time together. It was a fun girls' day out; just the two of us. After so many, many, many, many years, I have the desire to know her more. And boy, she is nice and funny!! =D We watched Twilight!!!! It is good! I am so gonna read the book, and this time, actually own them. Unlike Harry Potter, which I borrowed from friends. Sorry, I just can't spend money on books... Though I love to read. This is totally opposite of Chris xD Right girl? Haha. Yeah, I liked the movie. Not to mention, there was a total eye-candy whom Lynn and I drooled at =P =P Robert Pattison... *melt* Lol. He was THE hot Cedric Diggory from Order of Phoenix. He has grown alot.

Ahem. Moving on... Yeah, I would have never thought that I would spend Christmas with my cousin before. I enjoyed myself. Must date her out more often :p At night, I stuffed my face again with good food. Honestly, I think I have been eating ALOT for these past couple of days... During work, I had a sudden cravings for Chipsmore cookies, but I stopped myself xD I can indulge more when I get home... Without spending unnecessarily =P Muaha.

On bended knees and a humble heart, I adore Him, Christ the Lord.

Wedding of Shaun Tay and Elyn Tan

Yes, finally I have the time to blog about this special occasion, in the office of course. But I have already uploaded all the photos up into Facebook and tagged everyone. Okay, I've got to admit, Facebook is really good in this tagging photos application (yes Ana, you are right xD). So yup, I am no longer anti-facebook as I was =P Anyways, back to the main topic, it was an awesome wedding, and I was so honoured that Elyn asked me to help in ushering. So yup, as an usher, I tried my best to dress up =P Okay, so here are all the beautiful memories captured. First part is the Holy Matrimony, second is the wedding dinner =)

Here comes the bride... Here comes the bride...

Shaun taking Elyn's hand for the rest of their life (: *tear* (so touching)

Listening to Rev. Zhuang attentively. Haha, he preached a whole sermon during the matrimony.

Thank-you speech

Yay! A photo that I will keep for life (: Elyn looks so so so so so gorgeous.
The bride and her pretty bridesmaid

The [beautiful] rose among the [handsome] thorns

Dearest Chris ^^

Haha! So cute! Two of my xiao di dis =D Shiang Zhi is going to grow into a mighty man of God! He is going to be super powerful! Watch out for this boy to be the next leader or pastor even :)

Ladies who love black

Sam "Poh" Chew =P Fine, he's not that panda-ish anymore. He lost weight! Good for him!

Jin Hong gor gor (= (Aiyoh, Carol in the background. Lol)

Nat di di. Aww... Am gonna miss him. He's going to stay in Thailand for good... All the best Nat! May you grow even stronger and have such powerful influence over the nation. (Check out what Shaun is doing to Elyn in the background.. Awwwwww... How sweet can they get...)

Hui Mei jie jie :) The next wedding is going to be hers! She FINALLY has a boyfriend!! Wahah! Not bad girl, he's an Indonesian. Wooo~~ ;) They met at SOT :)

Mei Qi (: She look so different la. She should dress like this more often.

Crazy Ashley. But boy, she looks so girly now! Yay! Good, time for change :)

Beautiful ladies =P

Charlyn and Yizhen. Elyn's ex-ex-cell group members.

Their wedding dinner at Intercontinental Hotel. Such a posh place.

Looking sharp, people ;))

Pic with Rev. Zhuang! He's very friendly and nice!

Looking pretty, Chris =D

The ballroom is so nice! Black table cloths, very unconventional for a wedding, but it has Elyn written all over it. Red and black are her signatutre colours. If you notice, I deliberately wore black on the matrimony and red on the dinner. Hehes

Josh, you should invest in a blazer soon for event like this. Haha. Not that you don't look good in this jacket (wahh, I have become so edifying! Ahahaha! 10 points for me!)

Attempt in being modely =P

Cindy is such a beautiful and powerful woman of God! Like she said, she aim to get married in two years. Jiayou Cindy! Visualise!

My new spiritual leader. She's so sweet, nice and has a bursting laughter like mine!! Lol. Again, another powerful Godly woman. She asked me when am I going SOT. Hehe.. Soon Rou.. 2010 (: (Shucks... my dress became so puff up after sitting down... I should have gotten a size smaller)
Let's end with funny shots:
LOL. Mr Tall. Oh man, Josh is actually as tall as Mr. Tall! My goodness, what did your mom feed you while growing up xD Chris, thank goodness you aren't THAT freakishly tall xD xD

Like whatever Mr. Tall. I'm confident XD (trying to sound like Elyn :P) JH said it looked like it was going to eat me up anytime!! Funnay.
I agree with you Chris, weddings really make us contemplate... Though future is uncertain, but I have great faith in my Abba Father that my future is going to be bright, filled with wonderful things! Amen! Greater things have yet to come (= In ending, I wish Mr. and Mrs. Shaun Tay all the very best! May their marriage be filled with everlasting love, joy, prosperity and most importantly, fruitfulness! Wahaha! Japan is very romantic... Maybe they will come back with a new member of the Tay family :P Like Rev. Zhuang and Ps. Aubrey who conceived in Korea. Muaha! Yeah, can't wait to see Elyn not just a spiritual mommy to many, but be a real mommy to their kids!! Love you Elyn ^^ See you soon in CNY 09, don't forget your promise to invite us to your new house to bai nian wo =D =D *hugs*
