So Bored

My supervisor's out for a meeting, and I have NOTHING to do... Now that I'm bored in office, I guess I'll just blog random stuff... No one will then complain that this blog is dead or worse still, needs Jesus!!! XD XD XD Muahahaha.

Am really bored... 2 and a half hours more to go to cell group meeting tonight! Woohoo! And it's at Josh's place!! Yay! Haven't gone to his house since the days of W331. And get to be in the same cgm with Chris, Sitong and Josh! Feels like it's been forever~

Oh man... My sore throat lasted for a week after Asia Conference, and my fever was spikingly high. Now, praise God, it's way better, but it has developed into a cough, and today it has worsened due to eating Chris's birthday cake and onion rings last night =P Plus my pink colleague just offered me Pocky moments ago... I mean, Pocky, and not just an ordinary Pocky, but the really nice ones with almonds on it :d Who can ever resist Pocky??? Laughs.

Okay, this post can't emphasise any further how bored am I. Okay, let me describe my office... Firstly, it's freezing!! My pink colleague always blasts the AC. So funny, my supervisor called her a penguine once xD It really as if she's a penguine. She's like so immuned to the cold, yet my fingers feel as if icicles are forming on them xD Well, being a PR office, it is m.e.s.s.y! Papers are like piled everywhere and newspapers are stacked at a corner. It is really disorganised compare to my previous company. My ex-boss was rather particular about tidyness and stuff. Moving on to my job description. Besides my current nothingness and boredness, it gets busy in the morning as we have to go through newspapers and find articles, advertorials or ads on SAFRA, its competitors and market-related pieces. So I have to put in my language skills into use. Hehe. So yeah, am doing media clippings (my classmates would know what that is xD Aww... I miss them. Can't wait for school (: Oh yeah, I watched HSM3 with my classmates like... Okay... Long ago =P). Okay, back to media clippings. Yup, then have to summarise the article. Oh, I even have to read Chinese newspapers. Wow. I felt so out of place on my first day when I was instructed to do that as my Mandarin's rather rusty. But now, I'm adjusting to it (: Wahahaha, the neuron which stores my Mandarin knowledge in my brain is finally functioning after two years. Yesterday I had to go through SAFRA's website and check for any gramatical/spelling errors. And you will be surprise there are quite plenty of them. Enjoying my work so far... According to my other supervisor/mentor, he is letting me relax as it's my first week, but soon I have to chiong. Can't wait to be involved in their PR events and write my first press/media release ((=

Seriously, being a SAFRA member has lots of benefits!! So jealous! I want to serve NS and be a SAFRA member too xD The card offers so many discounts la! Haha, I was joking to Jin Hong yesterday that I can be a member next time too! That is I'll make sure my future husband's a SAFRA member, and I can shop till I drop! Muahahaha. Not to mention the spa and gym privileges. So nice... Oh, and movie discounts! XP

Okay, I just realised this is a lengthy post. Sorry guys for making you read this uninteresting piece. Just to add on, I was finally browsing through people's blogs and yes, like my blog, Elyn's blog has revived! Aww.. Her post made me so emo. Haha.. She says that she misses us ): Awww.. Oh yeah, another thing that I look forward to is her and Shaun's wedding!!!!!! Can't wait, can't wait =D I am so totally going to cam-whore and take lots of picture with the beautiful bride. I'm sure she'll look so gorgeous. Like what she told me in a sms: "dress pretty pretty"; which means I've got to go shopping!!!!! Pure joy!! But, haven't got my pay... God, I need provision =( My pay from my previous job never fail to delay because of its system, which is @%&#*!!! Ah well... So yeah, will go shopping next week! Need to get dresses, a pair of new shoes and accessories! Oh, want to thank JH gor gor and Sam for being so generous. I'm so broke so they treated my dinners. Aww... And last night Sam treated all of us!!! One laugh-out-loud moment was when he said to Chris "Happy Birthday" after paying for it!! HAHAHAHA! Burger King for a birthday meal XD Yeah, it was such a fun night! And I finally met Chris's notorious neighbour-on-the-hill, Ouyang! My goodness, she is sooooo soooo soooo hilarious!!! I love her!! Hahaha! Honestly, I can't stop laughing with her since we talked on the phone to plan Chris's surprise. Yay, new friend =D

Blog Out of Coma

Yes, yes, my blog has been in a comatose state for a month. Rejoice, it has revived XP And it's being revived in my office =P Yeah, am blogging at work... Not much workload this morning =P Been really busy ever since Asia Conference. Speaking of which, it was awesome and such a success. Am so proud of CHC for pulling an event of such great scale! Furthermore, it was the first conference. But it was a tiring week. Did not get enough sleep as I reached home at around 1am, then have to wake up early for the morning session. One thing I found rewarding was that the conference gave me the opportunity to bond with my new cell, W480 (: Am getting to know them more and hope to build strong friendships, and that the cell will be more united.

After the Asia Conference, I applied for a Temp PR Assistant position at SAFRA, and by God's grace, I actually got the job!! So yes, I am in Public Relations! Wooo~~ The job also acts as an internship (= Am really happy that I got this opportunity. Thank you Lord! *hug*

A BIG BIG WISH TO CHRISTINA!! Happy birthday my dear girl!!! =D =D Last night, Sam, JH and I went down to Amara Hotel to give her a surprise! And instead, she was relieved that Ouyang did not call a stripper. HAHA!!! Sheesh. She actually thought Ouyang would do that. Geez. So anyways, we had lots of fun. At around 10pm, Chris's friends from dance club came down to surprise her too! So the room got a bit cramped xD I hope this year is your best birthday yet Christina honey! Love you ^^ Now that I am at work, and my camera's back at home, I can't upload the photos we took, but I will soon ((=

Oh, I am just so amazed at how pink my colleaugue's desk is. Everything, I mean, EVERYTHING including her keyboard's pink!! LOL!! So funny. Like pink overload. Haha. But people in my office are nice (: Can't thank God enough of all His blessings. Oh, I have one bad news though... I failed my Psychology module :( Oops... No excellence in that. It was my fault because I stupidly missed the deadline for the RDA section, which stood quite alot of percentage in the module. If only I did not miss, I think I would have pass it, as the exam paper was fine. *sigh* Oh well... I will retake again, if not take a Marketing module. But, I did pretty okay for the rest of the modules. Hehehehe..

A Season For Change

Want to thank God for being with me during my Psychology paper on Thursday [= I actually knew the answers to the questions!! I could feel God's Spirit with me throughout the exam. THANK YOU ABBA FATHER!! But the statistics/RDA part was a killer. I think will loose marks from there =( Well, by God's grace and mercy, I WILL pass!! One more paper to go on Friday and I'm done =D Woohoo~

Heard a bad news from my dad that my boss and senior may be quitting in January. Oh no... I NEED to stay on. God, if not, give me a new open door, so I can have the financial ability to sow into Your kingdom for the next 6 months. For You are the one who give me the power to get wealth! Amen!

Well, it was a very, okay, "very" is an understatement, extremely emotional Saturday for W331. It's time to say goodbye as we go our seperate ways to other cell groups to grow further; to help our future leaders; to impact lives; to be even greater servants than we are now. My heart sank and was devastated by the sudden decision made by Elyn. But, she wants to see us grow, and I'm sure it's hard for her to part from her "children". Litres of tears were shed by us. Couldn't help it, we love each other so much and have bonded really well. I'm going to miss each and every one of them as they have changed my life and made me feel so loved; not to mention to be a part of CHC.

Elyn: She's my first CGL in CHC (T-T) and I WILL never forget her! Our spiritual mommy... Am so touched by the time she sacrificed to give me BS... She's such a strong woman of God. I will carry her DNA, her wise impartations and teachings onto my new journey =)) Love you Elyn!!! ^^ Aspire to be as mighty as her! Elyn, like what you said, I will bring joy to my new family and be a helper to His ability that is in me. *muack*

Christina: My bestie girlfriend!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE you!!!!!!!!! She's my first CGC!! Such a bundle of joy and blesser. She really step into my life as such a wonderful friend and adviser. Will continue to be as joyous and loving as her =D Am gonna miss you honey! And we WILL continue to talk on the phone for hours and complete our to-do-list!! We MUST! Will miss her especially......... *sniff*

Sitong: My fellow Mass Commer!! She's such a darling. LOVE you sweets!! She's always smiley and cheerful. Just as we are bonding and opening up to each other, it's time for us to grow in our own ways. Sigh... Will miss her tonnes.

Josh: He is one of the first few people to really reach out to me and made me feel so welcomed and at home when I first began to attend CHC. Love you brother! Am so gonna miss his craziness, our craze for K-dramas, and our crazy dance! Hahaha. Am gonna miss his corny jokes and his presence =(

Sammy: MY DEAR DEAR LITTLE BROTHER!!!! We really bonded as kakak and adik confiding in each other in troubled times *wink wink* Missing him so so much :( Different cell group with him. *SOB* Can't wait for you to be back in Singapore bro and to really give you a giant teddy bear hug!

Sam: Alright, he will be stuck with me in the new journey. Ahahaha. Thank God that at least he'll be with me, or else I will feel even more depressed parting with the others. We shall spread our "joy" (more of crappiness and rubbish) and "laughter" (more like scary and lame jokes) to our new cell. Wahaha. StillBrainstormin' invasion. LOL.

Jin Hong: Our big brother!! Oh shucks.. I couldn't stop crying when I saw the tears in his eyes as we celebrated his birthday yesterday. He is growing into a man now! Officially moving on to adulthood (= Time for him to get a girlfriend man!!!! IT"S TIME~~!!!

Pepsi: Oh man, another of my little brother. He NEVER fail to make me happy and cheer up when I'm down. Another little bundle of joy in W331. Can't wait to see him grow into a mightier man of God! He's such a sweetheart. *Hug*

Guo Yang: He got so emotional, but he is a great brother to us all ((= His lack of presence is always miss by us. Now that he is growing up, may he be a greater brother! Manhood! *whoosh*

Jonathan, Leon and Willy: Got to know them for a short time, but had fun times with each of them! May they grow stronger and more mature!! :)

I LOVE YOU W331!!!! We will FOREVER be W331! Let us grow mightier for Him and rise up to be a generation of history makers and world shakers! BIG BIG HUGS to them all!! Oh no, can feel my tears welling up again. Argh... I'd better go get some sleep. Need to chiong to morning prayer meeting tomorrow =]

Thanksgiving

Thank God that my first paper went quite well yesterday =) It is impossible without Him. Like what Pastor Kong says, as I do my best, He WILL do the rest. I have two more to go... Psychology's tmr... Sigh. That's my least confident module =( God, I need You. Holy Spirit, I need Your annointing, Your strength. Give me the ability to focus and concentrate... All to glorify You and shine for You in the marketplace.

My secondary school classmates and I took the opportunity of a public holiday on Monday and finally hanged out after what felt like eons! I was so glad that even though I have a paper the next day (oops...) but I decided to go for this outing. I really miss their craziness and wackiness. We went for lunch at Seoul Garden and had tons of fun reminiscing our odd "psychotic club" (where I suppose I developed my likings for gore from xD). Followed by lunch, we watched The Coffin! Wahahahaa. Many of us thought it would be scary. It is soooo scary... NOT! Haha. I was disappointed. Thought would be in for a scare-fest. Lol. There were some shocking parts here and there, but I laughed at its attempt to scare us. Filzah and I actually yawned twice during a horror movie! Geez. I think I'm immuned to horror movies since Shutter (which was undeniably freaky!) Oh, one guy in the theatre actually screamed at one part, and I laughed! Ahahaha. Aren't I a meanie =P So yes, we totally cam-whored!! Muahahaha!

Happy 56th Birthday

Yeap, it was my dad's 56th birthday on Thursday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAPA! We had dinner at a simple Thai restaurant which he mentioned that he liked the food. Yes, the food were REALLY good. The whole meal cost less than $70, and the portions were more than generous. A breakthrough: I bought my dad's cake with my hard-earned-blood-and-sweat-money! It feels great to be a blesser ((=
