Romantic films
Earlier this week I watched an old and classic movie - The Mirror Has Two Faces, Barbra Streisand is in it, so you can imaging how long ago was that movie. Haha. Usually I find old romance genre movies cheesy and corny, but surprisingly it was so nice! The acting was great too! And she was a professor in the movie, so one scene was her lecture about the relationship between Feminism and romantic films (Haha, there goes Miss Communicator), then also about Foucault and Aristotle! It's so cool that I actually understood those theories and philosophies. Hahahaha. So anyways, it is typical yet not a typical love story, I mean, there was a happy ending, but the process was really funny and sweet. Especially one memorable scene is the couple having dinner, then a waiter asked whether do they want pepper, so he said, "no thanks for my wife, oh, and can you bring a side dish of salad dressing?". Aww... he knows her so well! And when she started to act out her idiosyncracy of cutting the vege in a patterned manner, he just stared at her and detaily mentioned about what she does. Again, aww... Hahaha, I sound like a hopeless romantic, but, just the idea of him knowing her extremely well is super duper sweet!
Another film is a Korean drama (something I analysed for Feminism for my advanced diploma. Muahaha), which my mom is obsessed about. I was passing time while she was watching it, so one scene depicts woman A was at the theatre with man B, so while she's eating popcorn, she dug out a note folded into heart-shape which read "shall we start a relationship?". I was like awwwww.... Hahahahaha. It was sweet! And honestly, it's indeniably a creative way of asking. Ahahaa.. I seriously sound like a hopeless romantic =.= But hey, I'm a W.O.M.A.N! Ahahahaha (I'm every woman, it's all in me. Know that oldie anyone? xD)
Argument
As the title suggested, I argued with my brother on Thurs night. On the verge of quarelling actually =( this rarely happens, so I felt quit saddened by it. So the next day while on our way to ICA in the cab with my mom she asked me how I felt (how Psychologist-ish), so I said I didn't like his tone and his facial expression! It totally reminded me of my dads, who aren't exactly role models, nor good men. But my mom also told me certain things that I need to change, and what my bro said that I need to change. So, instead of being all teary and angry like my old self, I kept quiet and reflected, then started to talk to God. Then this worship song came into my mind: Show me how to live, teach me how to pray, let all I think and say please you Lord. Yeah, so I asked God to really change me and show me to be better, in order to lead a life that pleases Him. It's great to talk to God and ask Him for solutions to problems, He'll really reveal to you amazing things :)

Masquerade Party
I was really looking forward to this party! It was so fun! And everyone dressed their best and looked good! The sisters all looked so pretty! Christina and two Sylvias looked exceptionally pretty!! Guys were checking them out! xD Elyn always look pretty la... Hahaha.
I put in effort to looking good too =P Muahaha. And Sammy said I look different (in a good way I hope), Willy commented I should wear like this to church (wahhh.. Thanks Willy but no thanks! It's very troublesome to look like this every week! Ahaha), and Josh said I look posh! Wooo~ Glad that I received compliments, not trying to sound thick-skinned, but I was flattered la.. Hehehe.. *grins*
Seriously, it was fun dressing up once in a while, let me emphasize that, once in a while! Unless when have dates, then have to look nice. Unfortunately my dating life is non-existance =.= Laughs. Anyways, moving on... the food wasn't bad, the party was good too, however, thougth that perhaps there could have more ice-breaking games. Many of us kind of stuck to our own tables. And there was this magic show by a brother! Hahaha. I applaued him for being so brave and exhibiting good showmanship.
The shoes I bought for the party (thanks mummy!) A new addition to my shoe fetish =P

My mask! Isn't it nice??? (say yes)
I forgot to take my dress, it's in the laundry machine. Haha. Will take it! I can't wait to see the tons of crazy and nice pictures we took!
